"I chose Dean Wyatt Driving School because I had heard great feedback from my friends who were also with DWDS. It ensured me that, because of the great feedback I received, I would be in good hands when behind the wheel. Compared to what I expected, learning to drive was annoying at times (when stalling or people trying to overtake) but all of this just built up my experience of what the roads are like. And thanks to an instructor who takes care of their pupil’s, Karen, made me feel safe and comfortable when occasions like this happened. I found your teaching methods useful, informative and fun, as Karen would explain to me why/what her teaching methods were like and what they were for. Karen taught me catchy phrases like “Obi Wan-Kenobi,” to remember there is only time for one to turn after the Onodi car sales shop, and “one and two join the queue” for right turns at traffic lights and “Only a fool, breaks a two second rule.” These phrases stuck with me throughout my lessons and helped me to understand following distances and traffic queueing. I would recommend you to others because I had a great time learning how to drive in a safe, comfortable and secure environment. I never turned up to a lesson feeling apprehensive of what’s to come, as Karen made me feel comfortable. She allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them by teaching me catchy phrases that would stick with me during my lesson. This helped me to overcome the silly mistakes I endured during some of the lessons. Overall, I found the whole process with DWDS informative. I look forward to using all the skills I have been taught over the duration of my lessons and bring them to my own personal driving experiences."
