"I chose Jo at Dean Wyatt Driving School because my Mum knows her and she felt I would respond well to Jo’s calm approach and teaching style. I found learning to drive more difficult than I expected which is why I think it is important to find the right instructor, especially if you lack confidence. I found Jo’s teaching methods worked really well for me. She was very patient and thorough and allowed me to practice the things I found difficult numerous times until I felt more confident. She also took me on test routes so that I was familiar with the roads. I would definitely recommend Jo as I found her teaching methods very effective and she covered things in a lot more detail than my previous instructors. I can’t think of anything you could do better."
Huge congratulations to Izzie L who passed her practical driving test on 22nd February 2024 FIRST TIME (with us) with just 4 driving faults. Izzie had previously been unsuccessful in a test with a different driving school which knocked her confidence. When I started teaching Izzie it was clear she had the ability to drive, but tended to rush everything, so we worked on calming her down and perfecting manoeuvres. Izzie went off this morning with a few butterflies in her stomach but kept control of her nerves and delivered an excellent drive. Congratulations again Izzie on this very well deserved pass, it’s been a pleasure to teach you and get you through that final hurdle.
